Having founded 3 companies totalling over $1B in value, Doug Feirstein knows first hand the struggles of building a company.

Built Outside The Bay was born by 48 year old Founder and CEO, Doug Feirstein of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Having founded 3 companies totalling over $1 billion in value, raising over $300mm in capital, interviewing and hiring over 1000 ppl, from entry level employee to CEOs that have run Fortune 500 companies, host Doug Feirstein has been in the trenches and seen the struggles of building a company from seed to flower.

In his adult years, Doug lived an unhealthy couch potato lifestyle getting up to his heaviest weight at 215 pounds and was able to get to a fit lean 175 pounds. Maintaining his weight for the last 15 years, Doug has completed Two Half Ironman Races, started learning how to play guitar at age 37 and became a Brazilian Jiu Jitsui practitioner at 45.

A husband of 20 years to his better half, Jessica, and father of two amazing teenage kids, Parker and Emma, Doug puts family first while building successful multi-million dollar enterprises.
